Loveland's Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival is over 125 years old and is held at Fairgrounds Park at the end of August every year.
Opening ceremonies at 5pm Friday. Watch as teams face-off in the corn shucking contest at 5:30pm. A street dance will be held with live music from 7 to 10 p.m. The beer garden and food vendors will be open throughout the evening. Roasted Colorado sweet corn will also be sold throughout the night.
Saturday will start with a Pancake breakfast hosted by Loveland Kiwanis at 7:30 a.m. The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. The beer garden opens at 11 a.m. Other events include: "Loveland's Got Talent" talent contest; live entertainment; corn eating contest; corn recipe contest; and much more. Hot Colorado sweet corn will be sold throughout the event. Kids' amusements, commercial and food vendors will be open all day.
